Since its founding, TPI has maintained its family-run roots while expanding to become a trusted spacecraft mechanisms leader and partner in both design and manufacturing.
Founded in 2007 in Northridge, California, Techno Planet Inc began primarily as a spacecraft mechanisms consultancy, designing products for customers to manufacture themselves and consulting on both engineering and management across space, aviation, and other markets.
As New Space evolved and barriers to entry fell, new customers began requesting that we not only design but also deliver the hardware ourselves. TPI expanded its focus to include both developing spacecraft mechanisms and manufacturing mechanisms in-house.
In September 2022, TPI moved to an upgraded facility in Ventura, California to accommodate increasing demand and make space for the next wave of TPI evolution.
